Over the course of more than 20 years, Liam Y. Braber has established an extensive practice in the areas of Employment and Labor, Construction Litigation, and Commercial Contracts. He also consults on Employee Benefits and ERISA.
Liam is licensed in Pennsylvania, New York and New Jersey. He regularly handles employment, labor, construction and other commercial cases in court and in mediation and arbitration in the Mid-Atlantic Region and on the East Coast of the United States. He also drafts and negotiates contracts and commercial instruments of all types.
In his Employment & Labor practice, Liam consults on day-to-day employment decisions, non-compete agreements, employment and consulting agreements, discrimination claims, trade secret protection and recovery, benefits issues, and labor disputes - including collective bargaining. He drafts and negotiates contracts, severance agreements, restrictive covenants and other employment instruments. Liam also performs onsite Employment Practices Audits for his clients, in order to provide grounded advice.
As part of his Construction Law practice, Liam prosecutes and defends mechanics' liens, construction liens, bond claims, and delay and inefficiency claims. He regularly consults on daily project issues and disputes. He also drafts and negotiates construction contracts, change order documentation, project closeout agreements and other construction documents.
Liam has been recognized for his work, including being named one of thirty Lawyers on the Fast Track in 2010 by The Legal Intelligencer®, the nation's oldest legal periodical. He has several times been named by Super Lawyers® in the area of Employment & Labor Law. Since 2021, he has been selected each year by Best Lawyers® in the area of Construction Law.
